RSS for updates?

Hello there,

I´d like to ask if there is a RSS feed about all the FDS updates around.

Blogspots RSS does not feature all of them so far.

We would need to know about hotfixes too.

Hi Daniel -

I'm not aware of an RSS feed for updates, though that it an interesting idea.

I think our preferred mechanism for update notification is Application Manager.

This does, of course, require that AM, and the affected product(s), is installed on a system.

the application manager is installed. I´ll check with IT

if it´s been granted the necessary rights to stay online

all the time.

Recently it has been delayed an the RSS feed informed

us about updates the manager did not show for FDS 2015

Premium.

Also I have not seen the Navisworks Hotfix 2 in the que,

even though released already.

If RSS is possible... It would be quite handy I guess.

Hello 🙂

I´ve included all the vial links to FDS programs in our companys intranet pages.

I also could start with that page. Yet I would still need to check manually, there-

fore it would be an "if" dependency. Which I don´t like.

I´d prefer a mail straight onto the point 😉 Everyone informed at once and

no way to say: "Me did´st not notice yerr updates,  it´s yer job to inform me".

It would be a more peaceful world we´d be living in, and we all do strife for peace 😉
