I want to add a dwg as overlay but i get the message that the drawing is linked to another 3d Factory layout.
How can i find the 3d Factory layout where the dwg is linked to.
Help, help.
I hope there is coming a solution because within 5 weeks we all get new pc systems and we will upgrade to FDS 2013.
For profile problem, you could modify shortcut properties.
Change from
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\AecBase.dbx" /p "AutoCAD Architecture (Global)" /product "ACA" /language "en-US"
To "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\acad.exe" /ld /p "AutoCAD" /product "ACA" /language "en-US"
Then, it will keep AutoCAD profile when launch ACA every time.
I am sorry but it dus not work.
It's keeps coming back to Vanilla.
If you want to use ACA, please change to
"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013\AecBase.dbx" /p "AutoCAD Architecture (Global)" /product "ACA" /language "en-US"
Please pay attetion to the bold words, it decides which profile you used.
I changed the bold words with my profile name but nothing changed.
I think it has to do with my account and acad 2013.
See discussion in this post.
When i log in to the account for my desktop it all works.
When i log in to the server account it dusn't work.
One of my colleague has installed FDS and has the same problem with the acad profile.
Everytime it goes back to vanilla.
We now installed FDS 2014 and we stille have the problem that we don't see the Factory tab in the ribbon when we loggin to the server.
When i loggin as Admin everything works fine.
I hope Autodesk has a solution.
