INVENTOR 2013 continual random crashes

Help?

Approx August, Inventor 2013 started to randomly crash.

Until then it was working fine.

Service packs & several re-installs have not cured it.

I cannot replicate the process.

I am lucky if I get 20 minutes of operation.

One day it actually ran all day. The next it crashed maybe 20 times.

Several projects have only needed Acad which works fine but I have run out of time to postpone the Inventor projects.

Is anyone else having similar mysteries?

Hello,

Sorry for any inconvenience that was took to you.

Have you sent the CER report to us? If so, can you post the mail address you input in the CER dialog. Then we willl get the report by your mail and give an analysis of the crash.

Thanks,

-Xuesong

Please mark as a solution if somehow I got it right.

Hello,

How about your network connection? Did you sign in to A360? You can sign out A360 and restart your Inventor to try again if you already sign in it.

In some enviroantment, this may happen. This maybe related with different network setting or others.

The solution for me was to wipe the hard drive and reinstall everything.

I no longer had time to search for an alternative solution. To my knowledge there were no other changes to the hard drive, just a "clean it, nuke it, reboot it".

So far it seems to be working again with similar instability issues to others in my office.

Cheers

HOD
