iam as chain asset

When i place parts in a assy can i make then a chain asset?

Hi Jos,

 

I think so. But we need to add some ilogic code to the assembly before we make it as chain asset.

You can send it to me and I like to help you create it.

I need the parts that referenced in the assembly. You can pack and go in Inventor.

Hi Jos,

 

Assembly asset as chain assets is not supported very well currenly.

Attached is the assembly asset in which ilogic code is added. So you can place the assembly asset into layout and change the parameters in properties pannel in layout.
