FDS 2014 SP1 is available !

Dear customers and friends,

Here is the important message about service packs. SP1 for FDS 2014 is available now.

More issues have been fixed  in  FDS 2014 SP1 and the detailed info is attached.

Here are the highlighted enhancements as below.

• Sync workflow between Inventor and AutoCAD is more stable.
• The color of DWG solid is same as DWG solid in AutoCAD when it is imported into Inventor by Import DWG Solids command in FDS. The limitation is that users must import DWG Solid as assembly otherwise the colors will be missing.
• The URL linked to local drive file can be added in Asset Tag/Descriptor. But if the user needs to enter a URL with spaces in it, they will have to enter %20 for each space:, for example: file://c:\temp\this%20is%20a%20test.
• The overlay scales up with 25.4 automatically after a round trip between Inventor and AutoCAD. Or the scaling of the imported model from AutoCAD by Import DWG Solids command is enlarged by 25.4 in Inventor.
• Several users encountered the issue that publishing asset or Sync AutoCAD failed. The issue is related to updated Layers.xml in Design Data folder in Inventor and is fixed in Update 1(http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=22436654&linkID=9242019) for Inventor SP1(http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=22322619&linkID=9242019).
