Hi, What is the meaning of Autodesk products' ENU folder? Why it has this name? Is it means ENUmerator? Thanks. Architect Antonio Fontenele

Microsoft established this standard for naming files that are language-specific. Therefore this folder contains text for the English language. Everything that must be translated is in one spot (well, almost everything). --Cy--

Thanks Cy. Nice to know. I'm sure many of us wonder why MS decided that locating such important directories 8-12 levels from the root through hidden folders was a good idea. Can't tell you how many times I've had to browse to and through those important locations. But you can't do it without making the hidden files visible. ;-) Regards, Doug "Cy Shuster" wrote in message news:406dff48_2@newsprd01... > Microsoft established this standard for naming files that are > language-specific.
