What does AEC mean

I have yet to find a CAD publication/text book that explains what that term
AEC stands for.It is used liberally & thus means something pretty
basic but no-one says what!

thanks

Michael, I omitted my additional versions of what it meant because the guy was sincere and I did not want a wrist slap from a monitor----imagine some of the nicknames for ADT we have invented--"Architectural Death Trap" came to mind after I was gullible enough to fall for the demo for ADT2 and jump into it in mid-project.
