Wall Location Property Disappears

Been having repeated instances of the property for wall location & elevation
not appearing in the properties window. Only fix I've found is to exit &
re-start the program. Anyone else experienced this?

Maybe, one of my computers is missing info in the properties box but it's the one my "worker" uses and He's working on the problem...

I've also experienced similar behavior with stairs - no location properties.
Same fix - exit and restart the program.

Hi Hap,

So you're not seeing the entire Location sub-category, including Rotation,
Elevation and the Additional Information worksheet? Can you narrow down the
conditions when this occurs? Any additional information you could provide
would be useful.

Thanks,
Dennis

Thanks, Dennis -

That is correct - location sub-category is not there. Also has happened
with stairs.
I'll pay attention, take notes & post again. Only special thing that comes
to mind is that both the projects I'm working in 2004 were started in ADT
3.3. In one I opened the 3.3 drawing and saved it as a Construct. The
other I opened the ADT 3.3 drawing, copied everything to clipboard, opened a
new drawing in 2004, saved as a Construct and pasted from clipboard. I'll
have more in a day or two.

I am having the same problem, and I came here in
search of a solution.  I did not know you could restart the system to get
it back however.  I thought the lack of location information was a new
feature.  Other than this, I love ADT 2004!

Hap,

Can you give me some more information? Are you using Drawing Management?
Xrefs? Are any of the properties not showing up formulas?

Since you mention elevation, I assume you're using drawing management. If
so, and the project the drawing is in isn't the current project, the
elevation won't show.

I assumed the question was related to Location Property Definitions. If not,
please ignore my request for more information.
