Wall Comp Layer in PLOT REFLECTED Display

I have a model drawing, with the Plot-FLR, Plot-RCP layouts from the traditional Autodesk templates. I know it has something to do with Displays (UGH!), but I can't for the life of me figure out why the Plot-FLR does not show the A-Wall-Comp layer, while the Plot-RCP does. Where is the difference in these two displays that I am looking for? I don't want my Wall-Comp layer displayed in my RCP's!!! But other than freezing the layer in viewport, which I am really trying to get away from, but DISPLAYS are trying my patience with this strategy...I have read the Brain Dumps...they didn't help me...maybe this will be like MS/PS was to me about 7 years ago, when one day about 2 months after I first learned of it, the light bulb literally popped and I got it. Someone please explain in simple terms...Still using 2i, so not using the display manager matrix...thanks, Wesley

Sounds like the display rep set being using for the
two display configs: Plot-Flr and Plot-RCP have "reversed" themselves. The wall
styles will have display reps for PLAN and REFLECTED. It sounds like the Comp
layer is off in the PLAN rep and on in the REFLECTED set. check this
out.

By the way, if you are unhappy with the ADT3
Display Manager (as I am, I only use it to create new display reps), there are
two commands to use the ADT2 interface: DisplaysetdefineR2 brings up the "old"
Display Representation Set dialog box; and DisplayconfigdefineR2 brings up the
"old" Display Configurations dialog box.

These are MUCH easier to use than ADT3's Display
Manager, IMVHO!

I opened the drawing this morning, and no problems now...I am still confused though...When I look at the Wall Style for the Plan Display Prop, the Boundaries on the A-Wall-Comp layer are turned on, but in a Plan Display Viewport, they do not show up...same way in the Reflected Display Prop for the Wall Style. The A-Wall-Comp layer is visible for Reflected views, but doesn't appear in Reflected Display Viewports of Layouts. Where is this being controlled that I am missing the connection?

thanks,

Wesley

Duh, I forgot, I froze the A-Wall-Comp layer in the viewport last night before I left...that would be the reason why it look right now...nothing to do with the Displays...so, in other words...I am still in another world when it comes to Displays...
