Wall assembly conforming to wall shape

How can I get the wall assembly to conform to the wall shape? I did it by
accident once, and now can't seem to get it to work again. I have a
triangular shaped wall with a rectangular section on the bottom of it, that
doesn't extend the length of the bottom leg of the triangle, which results
in a cut-out section. I have defined my window assembly as rectangular, but
when inserted in the wall it doesn't conform to the shape of the wall. Can
I force it to conform to the walls' shape?
