UCS orientation in multiple viewports

I have my model space screen divided into 3 viewports, each viewing a 3d object from different angles (ie. plan, front and sw iso). what do I need to set in order for the ucs to change in the same fashion in each view port when i select a different UCS? Autocad used to be able to do this. Now it seems it only changes the UCS in the active viewport.
Any help would be appreciated.

Patrick,

Try checking the status of the UCSVP variable in
each viewport.

HELP document about UCSVP:

Type: Integer
Saved in: Drawing (viewport
specific)
Initial value: 1

Determines whether the UCS in viewports remains fixed or
changes to reflect the UCS of the current viewport.

0  Unlocked; UCS reflects the UCS of the current
viewport

1  Locked; UCS stored in viewport, and is independent
of the UCS of the current viewport
