Theys things goin' on...

We have a drawing in which someone created new wall styles specifically for that drawing. (not according to company standards of course)
Anyway, we found that the cut plane was set to 7'6" on these walls and of course the RCP was screwed up. We have fixed this three times by editing the wall styles and saving. But on restart and reopen the cut plane reverts back to 7'6".
What...is going on?

Thanks for any and all input.

Maybe the cut plane is set by object, not by display.
I sometimes overide the standard cut plane to show a window that
has a higher sill then normal.

True dat which Leo said.

How 'bout standards too?
Is it possible the person used the Cad Manager tools to create standards for that one project?

If so, that would explain why they may be reverting back to the 7'-0" cut plane.

Where exactly is it "reverting" in the wall style?

Thanks, all.
It is reverting in the display override. We set it to 3' 6" and then come back later and it's back to 7' 6".
We don't typically use standards but I'll check this one out.

Thanks again,

Our tech has redrawn the exterior walls using our standard wall styles and apparently fixed the problem. It must be something within the wall style set up but I was under the impression that the display override would supercede that.
Oh well, I'll not fight success for now.
Thanks for your input.
