Rotation of window tags.....Bug?

Hmmm, are mARTin and me the only people here that use window tags?
I'd really just like to know if this works correctly for anyone here, or is
it a bug.

Please, help.... someone...... h e l p . . . . . . . . . .
. .

Chris.

As far as I can tell, I am getting consistent behavior between ADT 3.3 and
ADT 2004 using the DACH template and the DACH window labels. I do get
slightly different behavior, but again consistent between both versions,
whether I drop from DesignCenter or use the WindowLabelAdd command.
Hrmm...maybe something special with your content??

Thanks for the reply Chris.

The following is my command string in the custom command in DesignCenter:

_AecAnnoScheduleTagAdd PropertySetDefs.Dwg _SYMBOL "Standard Window Label"
_LEADER _None _DIMSTYLE _Current

In the Insert options, the "anchor type" is NONE, and "Attribute Text Angle"
is As Inserted.

I have tried various combinations of Anchor type and Attribute Text Angle
with the same results.

I'm using the Metric content, with a custom made window tag with two
attributes:-Windowstyles:Width and Windowstyles:Height.

If I drop from design center, the label comes in with the appropriate
attribute values from the window (or assembly) but with a zero rotation.
If I use the WindowLabelAdd command, the label DOES NOT come in with the
attribute values from the window, but does come in rotated to the window
angle.
Also, using the WindowLabelAdd command does not allow me to label window
assemblies, which is what I use mostly.

Do you see anything that I may be doing wrong? I'm sure that I had this
working correctly during the Beta testing, but maybe I'm mistaken...

Thanks again,

Chris.

Are you trying to use the Window Label feature or the general Schedule Tag
feature? I thought you were trying to use the Window Labels. The Labels,
originally only available in the International Extensions, only support
windows, openings, doors, and stairs. The command for window from DC is
AecDcWindowLabelAdd. The syntax is:

AecDcWindowLabelAdd

Hi Chris,

You're right. I mistakenly thought that functionality had been added to the
allow for Window assemblies to be tagged with the Windowlabel command.
I guess that I might try a lisp routine to rotate the label to the
winassembly after insertion.

Thanks,

Chris.
