Opening Endcap

Hi all,
I created a very simple endcap that recesses the stud component back by an 1
1/2". Works great, no complaint. Now, I've applied this end cap to an
opening, and here's where it gets funny. The end cap works great on a
opening that would represent a pass thru, now if I make another opening that
would represent a door pass thru then the vertical recesses are 2" deep
instead of 1 1/2". Anyone have this happen before? Is this a problem or
what, I need some help on this please.
TIA

Here's another thing that I just tried, if you raise the bottom up 1 1/2" or
more, than the verticals come in correct, but still remain the same if less
that 1 1/2". Hmmm? Any way around this, like just applying the end caps to
the sides and the top?

Check the assigned Opening Endcap Style... Assign your endcap to both
jambs and Head, assign "Standard" to sill.

Did I say that these opening are in the same wall? Guess not. Sorry! I
was wrong, I have to raise the sill to 3 1/2" then I will have the 1 1/2"
recess. It's funny though, if you raise the sill in increments above 1 1/2"
then you get not only the recess that you want but also the 2" recess up to
the 1 1/2" height, and it decreases as you raise the height of the sill
until you reach 3 1/2".
