I'm on the same end as the consultant -- I run the basic program, but I
get files from ADT frequently. What I've found is that the object
enablers don't always give me a workable background. The only thing
that seems to work is when the client with ADT explodes the AEC entities
before he sends the file. Even when I can work with the AEC entities I
frequently have to explode the entities -- magenta seems to be a
favorite color for toilets, but it's also the color we use for a wide
line in all our custom symbols. When I explode an AEC entity using an
enabler the arcs tend to be out of place, so I have to do a lot of
rework. When the guy with ADT does the explode I don't see this problem.
