Multiple open drawings cannot drag and drop

I am trying to figure out how to copy an object or a drawing from one screen
to another. I have two AutoCad screens open side by side. Is there something
special you have to do to join the screens together to drag the object to
the other screen?

Make sure you have no commands active in either drawing. Then select all of
the objects that you want to copy, press AND HOLD the RIGHT mouse button -
drag and release into the target drawing. That should do it.

Also, make sure both drawings are saved before drag/drop.
May want to check Noun/Verb setting on the Selection Tab in the Options
menu, make it active.

Another thing that you guys missed was that one has to right click on a grip
point of the selected objects, and then drag and drop to other drwg. You
should get the four menu options thereafter.

This isn't something that I've had to do in the past. Active grips shouldn't
be a pre-requisite (and aren't on my system, anyway) for doing a right-click
drag-drop-copy.
