How would you handle this?

OK - I am trying a new setup but I am looking for some advice here.

I am creating a const that is the outline of the bldg of a 4 story project. In doing this I must place all of the windows, doors etc in the exterior shell for each floor.

What happens if there is a floor change that affects a number of windows and/or patios? Is there an easy way to move these around?

I am thinking in terms of someone who may not know or grasp 3D as well and could get lost quick. I don't really have a problem with it but another might.

Just wondering on your thoughts - hopefully I have made this clear enough.

For a multi-storey building I normally set up a spanning construct, which contains all levels of the exterior building shell.
