Error code 0x2 The system cannot find the file specified.

I have just installed ADT 3 and get the following error messsage.

Error code (0x2) The system cannot find the file specified.

AcRxDynamicLinker failed to load 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk
Shared\AeclSD.dbx'
C:\PROGRAM FILES\AUTODESK ARCHITECTURAL DESKTOP 3\ACAD.EXE
ERROR: AecLoader could not load requested module "C:\Program Files\Common
Files\Autodesk Shared\AecStructureBase30.dbx".
Error code (0x2) The system cannot find the file specified.

Any suggestions to fix are welcome. Thanks.

Hi,

Did you reboot after you installed? We add the c:\Program Files\Common
Files\Autodesk Shared directory to your PATH during the install.

If that doesn't do it for you, let me know.

RE: ERROR: AecLoader could not load requested module "C:\Program Files\Common

I installed ADT3 on a W98/385m that previously had ADT2i and I get these same error messages. I have tried reinstalling fully several times and also using the couple of repair reinstall options - no success - I still get these error messages. I don't quite understand your suggestion about the "path" option you mentioned in you reply. I would appreciate any help.
