Detial Component, Make Blocks not Anonymous

All,

Just a quick question:

Is there a way (in 2005) to make a detail component (or a detail component that is dragged to a palette) come in with a standard block name...or is it perpetually and always anonymous.

The problem I have is the steel shapes....I place them and I know the name of what I placed. A few weeks down the road I go to check the shape for proper size and the name is not the proper name but an anonymous. What to do?

Select it.. Right Click.. Add Selected.. then on the Properites Palette
you can see the shape it will add, at which point you can add another or
select a differnent shape from the drop down, if so desired, or cancel once
you have the info. I do agree that it should come in with the shape as the
block name but the work around work well.

Not sure if I understand the problem but anyway:

Attach a hyperlink description to the detail for ease of identifying it later?

You can also check the Extended Data on the Prop Palette
