Hi,
I'm not sure how this group reacts to advertising, but I've a curved roof
slab tool in a set of tools that my local dealer has designed and sells.
If you're interested, and it's permitted I'll pass on the info in here.

Regards.

I'm not sure what the actual rules are - although there is a MG just for NG
FAQ's that will explain it, but several independant 3rd party software
producers routinely post links - (This is where Rob jumps in) - to their
software when answering questions.

Curved roofs are one thing, domes are another. Any curved roof can be
created using a closed polyline. Unfortunately the slab edges on these
curved roofs can be a little flakey to say the least

no jumping in here. Beyond the dormer routine I don't touch Roofs. I don't
have too many requests for items like that. From what I have gotten back
from clients they don't use Roofs or Roof Slabs much.....

Sorry for the delay, here's the addy of the firm I've been dealing with.
http://www.technosoft.be/nl/ProdShow.asp?type=2&pid=52&cid=16

Actually that page should go direct to the section "Technotools" which
includes the curved roof , widowsills/lintels amongst other tools.
One slight hitch there though, you'll notice the page is in Dutch. I've just
been on the phone to them to ask them to hurry out the English PDF which
will obviously explain the tools more clearly.
They've promised to keep me informed and hope to get it done this week. I'll
post here or direct to anyone who's interested.

Regards.

I use roofs and roof slabs on every house I design. Search this group and the 2004 group using "barrel" as in "barrel vault" and that should bring up several examples. Look in the customer files area also.
