What the!
aecobjects are designed to obey the display system and as such are designed
to be drawn flat to the z.
You can work around this but for what you are trying to do it's not worth
it.
You are simply using the wrong tool.
I would suggest drawing the profile in a closed pline (trace the end view),
and the selecting it, right clicking and 'convert to mass element'. A
second pline can be used as a subtractive to make the hole and you can do it
again if you have several componants as your wall suggests. Actually it's
easier just to copy the first one and adjust it side by side (in end view).
Now your ME's are also being drawn odd to the z plane and there may be a
little strangeness but they are more forgiving and simpler to manipulate
than wall styles in this situation. Create a style for your beam cover so
you can set the rules for this particular ME.

Can anyone tell me how I can get these walls to show up in plan view? I've
attached a drawing to show what I'm trying to accomplish. This is a beam
cover with walls at the top at 45 degrees to reduce dust collection. A beam
is running through this inclosure. If you look at this in plan you'll see
what I mean.
Thanks
