After
the uninstallations of both programs, make sure that you remove the
folders
as well. Then, re-start the machine, and install ADT3.3 again. That
should
work.

Tony,
I have uninstalled all Autodesk products, and
have followed TS45252 exactly. I spent some time removing every entry in the
registry that was related to Autodesk products. I rebooted and the
system was OK. I then installed ADT 2i and continue to have the same
problem (no AEC functionality without crash.)
There must be some file relied on by ADT which is
not overwritten during the install process or some registry setting that I
have not identified, which needs deleting.
I notice during installation if I squint at the
files screaming across the screen that entries / alterations occur in Window
System 32 folder.
Can you shed any light on what else I might
try.
Craig.
