Main Table (ASD Concrete)

Hi,

why is the first hook length missing in the main table? and, what's more important, why doesn't the program include this missing hook length in the total bar length cell?

hello,

The length of the hook is the same therefor is no need to represent that.

For the length of the bar check your setings (L=A+B)

Hello,

ZCSILLAG i try a lots of software for RC detailing, but i tell you that ASD reinforcement (with all his bugs) i the best solution for me to detail reinforcement. I don't think is necessary to draw reinforcement 3D. All the world use 2D for many years and now, suddenly, is no good. I try Graitec, AllPlan and Tekla for reinforcement and his final drawing are execrable. This software is good because don't have 1000 popup windows for settings.

Here is an sample of drawings.

For steel dettailing I confess that Tekla is the best program, but I use ASD Steeel because this is the software with license.

Asd Formwork is good, but you can't use it to transfer  your work to Revit or Robot to do the calclation. Only simple structure can be transfer to Revit (straight beams, columns and plane shells).

But I can tell you that's my opinion.

Hi jenyzosin

....can you kindly printscreen your bar description settings since it seams that we work on a quite similar way!

This is another software (AutoCAD add-in) that I used to work with.

PS: I really don't want to complicate my life with 3D RC layouts.
