Knee Brace

Is there a way to create a Knee Brace in ASD? I'm using 2013. I found a workaround in this thread:

Clever and it works, but I'm hoping for a better, more default/straight method.

We want to place knee bracing from a column to a beam using gussett plates.

Can you sketch what you need? I'm not vey sure what a "Knee Brace" is.

I've attached a Knee Brace image using a screen shot from Revit Structure.

Basically it's just an angle attached to a column and beam with gussett plates.

ASD's Bracing comes close, but it needs two columns and it creates an X bracing.

This is a pretty common brace, I'm not sure why it's so difficult to do in ASD.

It should maybe be an option in Haunches.

Now I understand. Yes, I believe that the bracing solution is the only one. Or you could model every element.
