Dimensioning Styles: assembly and group - detailed view

If you use any of dimensioning styles from Group or Assemblies there is a tab "Detailed View".

How could I use it?

If I add Cross-section/Detailed View to template - it uses settings from "Front view " instead.

In properties it shows that ype is some mysterious "Custom View? (it should be "Detailed View" I think).

How could I change it to use setings from tab "Detailed View"?

In plant. In front view and side view. You can use the keyboard command RBCS_ADDDETAILVIEW. Within any order to generate the detail view.

Was it?

Thank you for your effort, but this was not what I was looking for.

I know how to make cuts and details- I just need them to use the right style- not to change style one by one view.

Good morning,

it's easy,

step 1) you have to create your personalized template with a detailed view (see picture below)

Cattura2.JPG

step 2) you have to select automatic cut in the format and scale label of the outomatic drawing command (see picture below)

and this is the automaic drawing result

Thank you - but this was not it.

This option (you showed) only states where the section marks are shown - not the style of cuts.

(I know how to make templates.)

Try this. Activate the new section and click "Adjust Style" - What do you see?

Thank you. I do it like that, but I would like it to use the correct tab from same style.

You can do it by changing dimensiong style views one by one from general to detailed. Then it uses the settings from detailed tab.

But to change all views one by one is too tedious work,

So I should be able to set this via template.
