I have a quarter geoid shape concrete, I want to make reinforcement detailing. I converted it to solid, than I defined as arbitrary element, but sections that are created as wireframes and cannot make any reinforcemet placement. The file is attached. How can I do this? or is it possible for ASD to detail such kind of shape
You can not create 3d rebar in ASD Reinforcement (there are few exceptions). Reabr is drawn in 2d plane. So I would do several sections (vertical an horizontal) and show "main" rebar there. It depends how accurate you want it to be. You should make as many sections as needed. Getting the rebar quantities - would be an estimation (manual) or if done insane amount of sections a closer call.
