I'm trying to do a two beams to column web connection, but when I select the relevant beams and column it tells me, “Selected profiles does not meet criteria of this type of connection”. The beams are Universal Beams and the column is a Universal Column, so there's no reason why it SHOULDN'T work.
Is there a document anywhere stating what the "criteria" is?
I've tested this out a couple times, without any problems yet. Could you post up a screen shot or two of your current structure so I can more accurately duplicate it?
To my knowledge, I don't believe there is any criteria published beyond what is in the description.
Maybe the angle between members is that criteria which accurately is not passed.
I'm able to answer (not guessing only) with true model sample.

To make this connection possible to make due to such criteria you need to rotate column by 90deg.

the column and rafter have the same section therefore no need to rotate it

The beam web is parallel to the column's web. That's why it doesn't work.
