Does anyone knows how to perform this new feature in Autocad Sturctural Detailing?

I also am very interested in the topic but I could not find much information. The only thing that I found is shown in the attached video link but it provides just few information. However, it seems possible

AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2012 provides new functionality in importing 3D geometry into 2D environments. In this release, you can change 3D solids to elements—such as beam, column, spread footing, and user-defined—using the new command Use 3D Solids. These created elements have 3D geometry representation, which enables obtaining automatically appropriate views and sections strictly connected with the 3D element’s geometry.

Hi,
thanks for the information. It was very useful.Smiley Very Happy

I am also wondering if the reinforcements shown the link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyMy5CWKEXM&feature=player_detailpage) have been designed as a "simple" autocad 3d volumes (see the picture) or if detailing can manage 3D reinforcements with specific commands (such as Revit Structure)

Thanks
