In my current project i have been working in ASD 2013 and my colleague in P3D 2012. Now we have to send our models to an electric engineer who works in MEP 2012. What is the best way to go here? Is there a way to export my ASD steel model in a "dead" format, so its easy to work in for the electrical guy.
I'm trying ACIS model but the 2012 regular Autocad wont open that, probably because i'm working in 2013.
How do you guys work with others? Navisworks is a good way, but we still want the guy to be able to model directly on our structures and piping. Xref perhaps?
