Automatic drawings

I have a question about the automatic drawings.

I draw a lot of iron industrial and residential railings.  Is there a way that the automatic drawings can place a mark on the center of the flatbar or channel where we need to punch the holes for the pickets.

Right now when I do the automatic drawings that use 1/2 x 1 bar channel, for the horizontal member of the handrail and 1/2 x 1/2 square bar for the pickets.  The automatic drawings show me the correct length to cut both the 1 x 1/2 bar channel, and the 1/2 x 1/2 square bar with the correct piece count, but it does not show me the location to punch the square holes so that the bar channel and sq bar can be assembled and welded together.

Is there a way to include the holes, or am I going to have to keep adding them manually ?

Thanks

Steve

I tried to follow your directions, but I did not have any luck.

Do you have any more suggestions?

When I change the style, do I need to create a new drawing, or just update the existing drawings?

Thanks for the help
