Every time I try to Auto position parts or Manually position parts the program freezes. This is rediculious. Please tell me someone else is having these issues?
So I am not the only one having this problem in 2015.
Never had this in 2014, but started happening "occasionally" in 2015.
Same symptom as you described and very annoying.
Once it starts happening, the only way to solve this seems to be to delete everything.
I have the same issue with Auto positioning in ASD 2015. Have you found a solution ?. I am going to call Autodesk support tomorrow.
I have not found any solution.

Hi! I am having the exact same issue with positioning. I have noticed an interesting thing though: It works well, until you reach 10 different profiles - so it crashes while giving out pos. #10. If you manually leave pos. #10 out (for example, autopos the first 9 different profiles p1-p9, then p11-p...) and continue positioning from #11 it will be OK. Still, it is a bug, and a pretty disturbing one. I am looking forward to find the solution.

This bug is really BORING. I THINK THAT THE PERFORMANCE OF GRAPHIC ASD has improved in version 2015 This bug BUT MAKES THE PROGRAM UNUSABLE
WAIT FOR OFFICIAL ANSWER AND HOTFIX.
For me, once I start changing positions (i.e., remove positions and reassign new positions) this happenes with 100% possibility.
This program is now almost unusuable, because there is always a chance to change positions in a project and I cannot do that due to this annoying bug.
Where is fix for this? Autodesk trying to sell out Advance Steel?
