AISC Database has errors

I have a small platform like structure and it has W8x10's in it. ASD Shows the bf distance as 3.94" when my Manual of Steel Construction shows it should be 9.6"

How can I correct this?

Thanks for the reply... I know how to create my own profiles. However there is a mistake in the AISC database. The profile exists already in AISC. I would like to know how to correct the existing database.

Is this possible?

Hello,

Yes!

It is equal to edit an existing file.

1 - Open the file "aiscpro.xlm" in "visual basic". (Example)
2 - Search for "W8x10".
3 - Go with the arrow keys. Go to "bf".
4 - Change the value. Save the file.

5 - Open DSA and then add and remove the "AISCPRO" in "Project Preference / Profiles".

I'm using windows 7 and here is where I found the information on user sections after I made them:

C:\Users\"User Name"\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Structural\Common Data\2013\"DATABASE NAME"PRO.XML
