Georeferencing of raster images

Hi,

as I am new working with Raster Design I have a fundamental question: is it possible to georeference raster images in Raster Design? What kind of tools do I have to use? Is it possible to select points in the raster and the similar points in a dwg-file? What`s the best way of doing this?

Any help would be useful!

Thanks alot! Ralf

I usually use Image Coorelate to get it
close, followed by Rubbersheet (if needed) to get a better match, then Export
Image and saving a world file.  The Getting Started
documentation advertises on Page 40 (Chapter 3) that you can save
coorelation in the image file, but that is a falsehood.

Is Rasterdesign the only AutoDesk product that will expoort a World File
after alignment of an image?

Thanks

ToolPac from DotSoft (www.dotsoft.com) has a Make World File function,
though I've not tried it yet. You'd still need RD for rubbersheeting,
though.

RD makes world files if that option is selected on image export.
