Does anyone know how to create tiled images from a large image file, say a Mr Sid image? I know that Raster Design is supposed to be able to take an image of almost any kind, and create tiles from that image. I have several large Mr Sid files that I have been trying to breakdown so to speak for use in a different software (PLS-CADD). I would like to keep the file in its correct geographic location if possible. The only ways that I have seen for being able to tile a large image is through exporting the image or through a save as process. The problem that I am having is that it has taken several days of crunching without any kind of result. I have been trying to create several different types of image files; Tiff, JPEG, JP2, etc but I have been unable to actually get any results.
Any help would be great.
