I am trying to export/save a BMP or JPG for use as a background on a handheld GPS. (I have never worked with images out before) The tricks: 1) The handheld will only accept a JPG or BMP for a background file. No DXF. 2) I need to JPGOUT or BMPOUT, I get this, but does ACAD Raster or other create a "World File" for JPG or BMP, I wrote a WLD manually, but don't want to have to do this everytime. 3) Is there a way to increase the BMPOUT resolution or DPI. I am working with several sq. miles and the background file is so ?pixlated? at each waypoint it isn't much help. Summary - I have output that works, however I am pretty sure that my ignorance has taken me down the most difficult path and hope that I can sharpen my image. Thank-you for help in advance.
