Text window font & Command Line Font Problem on WinXP

Hello,

My mother language is Hebrew and I'm using AutoCAD R14/Map3 on NT4 / XP Pro with this problem:
I need to switch back & forth form English to Hebrew in the command line window.
I'm trying to change the font type from Preference Command under Display tab
under Autocad Window - Text font, from "Couier" to "Fixed Miryam".
this setting exist as long as AutoCAD is open. After reopenning it, AutoCAD
seems to ignore this setting, althought the value in the registry OK.

I have also checked this on AutoCAD R2002/Map5 with XP and it is the same.

1. why is that?

2. Is there a work around? can I force AutoCAD to use my setting?
Maybe writting a Lisp/VB/ARX command to run at startup each editting
session.

Thanks in advance
