GPS Input into AutoCAD?

Can GPS be used to input coordinates to AutoCAD. I'm looking for a way to directly read x and y coordinates, as recieved from a GPS reciever. Most programs I've seen require a conversion from the software used by the GPS. Seems like it would be more efficient to go directly into autoCAD.

I'm looking for the exact same thing. Or at least some add-on software that will read GPS tracks
routes and waypoints (specifically for a Garmin 12 handheld unit) so I can put it into AutoCAD 14
easily. Can someone help? I've found some solutions for bringing GPS data into ArcView, and
possibly then AutoCAD through a .DXF converter, but I'd like to find a more direct way...

Thank you if help is out there!
