Two Valves Same Tag Number

I’m still new to Autodesk Plant 3D so I hope this is an easy fix question.  I would like to give two valves the same tag number. For some reason the software will not let me do this. It will put a (?) behind the tag number (see image below).   The current software I’m using is Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014. I would appreciate any help you might be able to give me.

Thanks

As far as I know, you can't set the same tag number on multiple items. You might want to place a period at the end of the second tag number. That way it will look the same at first glance...

Equipment, Line and Valve Tags need to be unique.

In the case of valves the entire tag is the uniqueness test.

If your tag has 3 data components as your image suggests then these 3 properties could be complemented with a 4th property that will ensure uniqueness, but need not be presented on the valve annotation.

Your valve annotation could now be modified to call each of your 3 original properties instead of the valve tag,

This way your 2 valve annotations on the drawing will present the same.
