Trouble with Plot Styles

Hello,

I have recently upgraded fro Plant 3D 2012, to Plant 3D 2014. I have been working on a few smaller projects to work out the kinks and get all my settings customized, and one thing that turned up is this;

Attached are a couple PDF's to refer to.

Okay, we often do jobs were a civil surface is created (either by DEM or Survey data), and then that surface is XREF'd into plant. Once the surface is XREF'd into plant, I line up the building and piping in the desired location. I then set up a sheet set and create plan views of the job site, which is represented in the PDF's.

There is a company CTB file that we use, it plots lineweight according to color and so the way my site plans used to print was everything that was a 3d object or piping would be in color, and the lines to the surface would plot in black and white according to the CTB file regaurdless of the color. Now, in 2014 everything plots in color. What am I missing? the ctb file plots fine when my visual style is 2D Wireframe, but when I plot in Relaistic everything is in color. It worked before in 2012, why won't it work in 2014?

It sounds like you may need to spend some time tweaking your company’s plot style table. Here’s a good article for that:

Use plot style tables

You could also just change the object colors in the Civil DWG so that they all plot black in this scenario using your existing ctb.
