Trouble getting downoaded specs to show in Spec Viewer/Selector

So I downloaded a Victaulic spec, followed the instructions for install & open Plant 3D & go to load the spec in the Viewer/Selector & its no where to be found.

I can open the Vic cataloge & view all the specs just fine but for some reason in Autocad its not showing them loaded into the system.  I've tried closing out Plant & reopening & that didn't work either.

Any help would be appreciated.

-Mike

The specs have to be added to the Spec Sheets folder within the Project folder.

I finally got it to work, however none of the Vic clamps seem to be insertable from the Spec Viewer, everything else is insertable except clamps.

Have you had this issue?

I haven't used this spec. Are you getting an error message?

Not really an error per say but all the couplings "Insert in Model" is greyed out under the Spec Viewer.

That's because they are created as fasteners. they will be inserted when needed. You don't need to place them manually.

You might need to edit the connectors to add GRV connections, should be in the instructions with Victaulic download
