Support on East Coast

I was wondering why Autodesk does not any Plant Support on the east side of the country?

We have to wait until 12:00 or after to get any answers to problems we may have.

I agree. Support should be offered during normal buisness hours for every part of the country. Also, why is support only confined to questions about the program? Support should also include the ability to ask "how to" questions and get answers.

If you purchase through ECAD, you can free support. I'm located in Greenville, SC. If your reseller participates in the WASP program, support is available here: http://plant3dsoftware.com/

We are headquartered in Texas, so we can handle all the time zones pretty easily.

Thanks for the information but we have already purchased support from Autodesk. You would think Autodesk

would at least respond.

Hi tarheels09,

We have a global team of experts capable of providing support for Autodesk products during US business hours, 9 AM to 8 PM EST.  In the case of AutoCAD Plant 3D, none of those experts reside on the East Coast but we have specialists in the UK and Germany who provide the coverage in the morning until the West Coast specialists start their day.  Additionally, many of our specialists have taken introductory training in other product so they can provide triage support for products outside of their expertise in the event an expert is unavailable.

I hope this addresses your concern.  If you attempted to obtain support for AutoCAD Plant 3D and were stymied can you please private message me with your name, and the date and time of your attempted call and I will try and determine the root cause?

Best regards,

Chris Mahoney
