Substitue part pulldown

Hi All,

As you can see we have list of Control and handvalves that show up in the pull down.

How can I edit the Substitute part pulldown to be a little more descriptive?

I did a search but could not find an answer.

Tom,

The values shown after selecting the Substitute Parts grip are the Long Description (Size) values from the spec.  Be sure you are populating those as well as the Long Description (Family) values in your specs.

Can we make changes so it will pick up Long Description"Family" instead of "size".

Currently, there is no way to change what appears in the substitution grip drop down.  However, you can post a suggestion to the IdeaStation for Plant located here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-plant-3d-p-id-ideas/idb-p/48/tab/most-recent.  The Plant developers review the IdeaStation frequently, and will try to incorporated those items with a high number of votes.
