Spec Edit Syncronization

I am running Plant 3D 2015 and am a fairly new user to this flavor of autocad. I am working ona project that requires me to edit the standard C150 spec. I understand how to get into that spec and insert new components, but when I save that and go back into Plant 3D that spec has not changed. It is still the default list. The knowledge base said there should be a Spec Syncroization button in the catalog tab, but I do not have an option for that in my spec editor. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to edit the spec in the current project folder structure (Project/Spec Sheets).  Or, you can edit outside of the project and copy the spec into 'Spec Sheets'.
