Spec Descriptions - Shortcuts

While filling out spec descriptions in the Spec Editor, is there a way to enter short cuts so that some info is automatically filled, like sizes? For example: You have a Fitting and in the Long Description Size column you enter "Tee, X" Schedule 80". Is there a way were I can automatically substitute the 'X' for the actually size of the part. It would cut down on the time to enter descriptions if I can have all the sizes filled automatically instead of entering all the sizes for each part. Thanks.

Have you looked at Long Description Styles for specs?  I think that's the only supported way you can do close to what you describe.
