(small) Tongue and Groove flanges

Can somebody explain me how I can created (small) Tongue and Groove Flanges in the catalog with the correct gaskets and Studbolts. I know already that I have to add 2 new plantendcodes in the project and I have to add Joint Settings in the project properties. I need a combination off two different flang facings (1 Tongue and 1 Groove) The valves to be used in this pipespec. must have on both valve side a Groove flange facing, also nozzles on vessels or pumps must have a Groove flange facing (to be connected with a Tongue faced flange pipe end). Have anyone already made (used) this flange connection, and how was the output on the isometric. Please advise, with kind Regards, Henk Segveld (hendriksegveld@primat.nl)

It sounds like you have it right so far, the question from me is, are the gaskets anything special also? Do they have a unique endcode also that you want?

Also, make the new parts (flanges, valves and gaskets, and bolts if you want too) in the Catalog with your new end codes, put them into the spec, and if your Joint Settings configuration is right, it will all connect.

Hereby I send a document were I discribe what I've done to realise the Tongue and Groove flange connection.

I can place the Tongue flange, I can place the groove flange, I can place a tonfue to a groove, but no groove to a tongue.

Some settings are wrong but I can't find where. Meabey You

I'd give the gaskets a unique end condition as well, and add that as part of the joint connection rules. I think thats what you're missing. Or add Universal_ET a connection you can add, as well as the TF and GF.
