select pipe group to change service?

Is there a way to select the pipe group in order to change the service?

You can select one pipe, then right click, then go to Add To Selection which will list some other options, otherwise, manually select the items, and make sure you select welds/fasteners also, they will come under that group you'll need to change.

I always use the Data Manager > Change View to by Area (bottom left) > expand and select Pipe Lines (Top Level).  Not to be confused with selecting the line you want to modify.  When you select the pipe lines node, all of the groups are listed and you can change the information for one of them there.

Great, thanks.

Any idea how to asign layers to service codes? So when I assign a service code to a pipe group, it will put it onto the correct layer?

In the project properties there is a section under "Plant3D DWG Settings" that has the layer information
