I need help with Reporter.

Why does my CS150 spec fittings merge with the Galvanized spec fitting?

I want them to print out as separate iteams so they can be purchased correctly.

You have to add the spec to the sort items at the bottom of your report setup. I would recommend adding every column property (except quantity) to the sort order items. This can screw you up big time if you don't catch it!

You were very heplful with spec part of the Reports.

When I run a report it includes the Existing piping.

I has changed the Ststus of the Existing pipe in my model.

I only waht the BOM to show New piping.

Can you help me get that set up correctly?

Open Report Creator, edit Report Configuration, then select Edit Query. In the bottom left area change the filter for 'Status' to <>'Existing'.  You'll have to do this for all Included Classes.

This explanation worked.  I found that every item in the query need the status change.  It isn't a one placement fix for all parts in the BOM, each part status change is required.
