Random pieces of equipment not showing up in Navisworks

We are running Plant3D 2014 and Navisworks Simulate 2014. Sometimes when viewing a Plant3D created piece of equipment in Navisworks, random parts of it don't show up. If we go back into Plant and either redraw or copy and replace the piece that isn't showing up in Navisworks then do a refresh it shows up. Has anyone else run into this?

In Navisworks, in the file that is not displaying properly, check the Scene Statistics (Home tab, Project panel, pull-down arrow and Scene Statistics). This sounds like an object enabler issue. You may need to reinstall your Plant 3D 2014 object enablers. Be sure to match the bit version: Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014 Object Enablers

Maybe post a screenshot of the scene stats and of the incorrect display if you still need community input on this.

I have a similar problem.

All OBJ enablers are installed. and not warnings under Scene Statistics.

Have you tried nwcout command then the output .nwc file is the one you will append on your navis?

Here are my findings, at least for my situation.

We will usually have our equipment set up this way:

1 - Save the model on a standalone DWG at 0,0,0

2 - X-Ref the model in desired drawing.

3 - In the disired model we can move the X-Ref Model to desired location.

4 - Now we convert it to equipment and pipe from/to it.

I made quite a few tests.. Using newly created drawings making sure all was correct using this method, therefore any X-Ref that is turned into equipment, will not show in Navisworks 2015 and 2016.

The only way to make it show is to create the equipment in the source model drawing and append the source dwg to Navisworks (which will force me to move the model to desired locatin in the source dwg).

This method has complications for us as we are connecting RF to FF flanges and P3D here just can't make the intelligent connections if we don't use the first method. Using the first method I get warnings for RF to FF connections but still works. Second method doesn't work at all.
