Question - Spec Editor and Tool Pallette

Newbie question here ....

I'm trying to add some components to my CS600 tab under the tool palletes.

This is done using the spec editor, correct?

I've closed Plant3D, launched the Spec editor and opened CS600.pspx. I've selected some items and clicked "Add to Spec" and saved. The file updates, but when I relaunch Plant3D the items don't appear.

The project is stored on a network computer. Could this be the reason why t he components are not showing up on my end? - or am I doing something completely wrong here? Thanks!

Are you sure you are editing the right spec?? I mean, the spec you are using is default, I am just curious if the spec you are editing is your project spec, which is and normally located inside your project folder. Thanks.

Thanks patpat79, I was not editing the specs inside the project folder. I'm new at this, sorry - but thank you. I've got it now! You're a big help! Thanks again.
