Question mark after valve tag

Does anyone know why suddenly a question mark is coming in after the tag definition of a valve?  Some have it, some don't.  I put in 4 ball valves and on the fifth and all the ones after it, it suddenly has a question mark there.  i.e. - B?-201.  I can't find a way to get rid of them either.  I know this happens if you have the same number on something, but I've never seen it happen on the tag definition.  Please help!

Thanks.

I added a picture so you can see what I'm talking about.

I have a little different custom valve tag style setup, but this might apply to what you have setup as well. Check and adjust to Define Expression to No Expression (free style value). This might help in removing the question marks.

I believe you are on the right path. The question mark is indicating you have a duplicate number in your valve sequencing. I would check you autogen and see what setting you have. Or, run your datamanger for the drawing and change the valve number and see what happens. Hope it's this simple, most times it's not, but it's worth a try.

The best thing i can suggest is that, create a new "field/property" to use for your tag.
